• POLICY FOR ACCESS TO LNiF’S BUILDINGS
LNiF’s buildings are open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Afterhours only those who have magnetic badges are allowed to enter (faculty, researchers, technical and administrative personnel, and PhD students who are stationed in Mattarello).
Whoever leaves after 6 p.m. must pay attention to switch off lights, close doors and windows that might still be open and to make sure the gate has closed completely before leaving.
Administration assigns a desk to all people who daily work in Mattarello (ie: faculty, researchers, technical and administrative personnel, PhD students).
Every PhD student’s desk is marked with a name tag.
For people who sporadically stay at LNiF and need a desk, the tutor/supervisor must contact Administration (email@example.com) and put in a request for a desk (with the following info: start and end dates, and frequency of use):
- guests for a period > 4 months (at least 3 days per week at LNIF): administration assigns them a specific desk, if available, during the requested period;
- guests for a period < 4 months or students: they do not get a specific desk, but are allowed to use a desk among those available (without name tag) in the assigned room.
In all cases the desks to be used are designated only by Administration/IT staff on the basis of those available.
People, desks, PCs, and furniture in general cannot be moved around without Administration’s prior authorization

• CODE OF CONDUCT
Whoever shares their office with other people is requested to behave so that co-workers are not bothered.
In particular, in rooms with several desks, conversations should be avoided to not annoy others.
Everyone must take care of the common goods (furniture, PC and phones, stationary, kitchenware, books and journals…).
