Preparing a Project

In order to commence a study in MEG, all general criteria for accessing a CIMeC Facility must be met. In addition, the Facility Manager and the Scientific Advisor must be contacted in advance for a preventive assessment of technical-methodological feasibility, safety and resource availability. The Lab Manager then sends the Scientific Manager and CIMeC administration an email whereby the Facility approves the protocol.

Also when presenting an amendment to the Ethics Committee, it must be submitted to the Lab Manager and, if necessary, also to the Scientific Advisor for a preventive assessment of the technical-methodological feasibility, safety and resource availability. Only once the email approving the protocol has been received from the Facility can it be submitted to the Ethics Committee.
