The TBSLab Facility, operative since 2006, provides cutting-edge scientific and technical support in the application of non-invasive TBS techniques (e.g. transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial electrical stimulation (tES)) and in the combination of TBS with other imaging techniques (e.g. TMS-EEG coregistration).

The qualified staff who work in the TBS laboratory assist users with the general planning and fine-tuning of experimental set-up; they train users on safety and on the correct use of the Facility and equipment, and they provide support and advice for planning and executing experiments and data analysis. The staff also deal with technological and methodological research and development, the optimisation of systems and instruments, the management and maintenance of the laboratory and the promotion of the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques and reference best practices as a key tool in the field of neuroscience.

The structure offers professional consultancy, training, project execution and support for experimental design.
Since 2024, the laboratory makes accessibile to researchers a latest generation 3D printer that can be used to print 3D stimuli for experiments, useful elements for the experimental setting and much more.
