Booking System and charges

The Facility's resource booking system is available in CLARA and is accessible to Users in possession of University credentials.

CLARA allocates the actual availability of resources on a quarterly basis and three months in advance of the slot creation date. The system ignores reservations of a resource more than 6 months in advance, or of any resources not yet allocated.

The booking of a resource is subject to verification of the necessary financial coverage. In the event that the coverage is insufficient, only the chargeable reservation will be guaranteed, proceeding in chronological order until the funds are exhausted.

It is possible to cancel a reservation without charge up to 3 days before the reservation (if canceled within three days, the booked hours will still be charged). Usage costs will not be charged in the event of breakdowns in the equipment or systems essential for the functioning of the booked resource.
