Welcome to the TBS Lab at the Center of Mind/Brain Sciences CiMeC

This is the wiki website for the non-invasive transcranial brain stimulation (TBS) lab. The TBS lab is a part of the Laboratories for Functional Neuroimaging (LNiF) at the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC) and is located in via delle Regole, 101, 38060 Mattarello (TN) Italy.

The non-invasive transcranial brain stimulation (TBS) lab is operational since 2006 and it is a Research Facility providing cutting edge scientific and technical support in the application of non-invasive TBS techniques (i.e., transcranial magnetic stimulation – TMS, and transcranial electric stimulation – tES). In addition, the combination of TBS with other imaging techniques (e.g., co-registration TMS-EEG) is another main expertize of the lab.

The website is designed to be used as a reference page for the CIMeC scientific community who wish to conduct non-invasive TBS research. Nevertheless if you are not from the CIMeC and interested in collaborating we will be happy to discuss about it.

If you have a non-invasive transcranial brain stimulation (TBS) project proposal please refer to the following pages:

How to propose a TMS or tES experiment

Definition of study types to be done with TMS/tES

Access to the lab

Rules of conduct regarding safety issues

In any case if you have an idea or project for a TMS or tES experiment and you want to discuss feasability or anything else, the first thing to do is to contact me at: carlo.miniussi at unitn.it  (tel: 046128.2793).
